The Fisher Price Smart Cycle – This interactive and educational bike and game package encourages both learning and physical activity by leading the child through games using a bicycle as the key to play. The Smart Cycle is great way of keeping young children both entertained and fit.
This sturdy, colorful stationary bike plugs straight into the television, via an extra long lead. Not only does it help kids improve hand/eye coordination and bike riding skills, but their brain will get a work out too after visits to Maths Mountain, Shape Lake, Number Fields and Letter Creek!
The supplied Learning Adventure game cartridge has 3 ways to interact, with multiple levels of play for different ages and stages. The seat is also height adjustable.
Children aged from 3 years old can play with Smart Cycle in three different ways:
1. Drive:
Pedal, steer and learn at your own pace—visit Math Mountain, Shape Lake, Number Fields, Letter Creek and other stops along the way.
2. Learn:
Stop and rest, but don’t stop learning! Use the joystick to reinforce important learning skills with plenty of games and activities—with different levels for growing kids.
3. Race:
Put the pedal to the metal as you race with cars on-screen, against the clock, or with another player!
Not only does Smart Cycle keep kids entertained and in shape, it is a great learning tool as well. It teaches children upper and lowercase letters, numbering and counting, spelling, problem-solving, shapes, motor skills and more.
Smart Cycle requires 4 ‘D’ alkaline batteries (not included). Assembled cycle is approx. 25″ H x 18½” W x 27″ L.
Just like a real bicycle, Smart Cycle pedals are not interchangeable (there is a left threaded pedal and a right threaded pedal). It’s important to assemble the right pedal on the right side of your Smart Cycle, and the left pedal on the left side. Each pedal and pedal axle are labeled with an“R” for the right sideand an“L” for the left side. To tighten the pedals turn the left pedalcounter-clockwise(which is different from how you would normally tighten) and the right pedal clockwise. Be sure to tighten both pedalsfirmlywith the enclosed assembly tool and you’re ready to roll!
